Logan County JROTC is working on a Service Learning Project for the community. The cadets have built a Hometown Wall of Heroes at Logan County High School. The group wants to honor those who have “served and sacrificed.”

Honorees will be those are graduates of Logan County schools who either have in the past or currently serve in the fields of military, medical, fire fighting or law enforcement. They can either be a graduate of LCHS or of one of the five high schools which consolidated into Logan County High School 40 years ago.

Planners are asking for submissions of names, photos and information about the potential honoree. Information would include which school and year of graduation, in which field the person served, and facts about the person.

These can be mailed to Logan County High School, 2200 Bowling Green Road, Russellville 42276, ATTN JROTC or emailed to LTC Mike Triplett at mike.tripplett@logan.kyschools.us.
