RHS wrestling’s first match ever praised
From Russellville High School Sports Historian Greg Owens: History was made this week as our RHS Wrestling Team had its first match. About 25 Panther boys and girls traveled to Ohio County to test their skills they just learned less than a month ago, actually winning several matches against a more experienced group. To have such a turnout is a great sign that our students are eager to accept new challenges in representing our school and community in a positive way! We have a home match at RHS on Jan. 18. Shout out to Coach Jeramy Rust along with his staff and to AD Ryan Davenport and our administration for giving this opportunity to our students.
