Due to weather conditions, the Dr. King Jubilee Celebration which had been scheduled for this Saturday is postponed.  The event is rescheduled for January 25.  All the below information is correct for the new date.

The Russellville-Logan County NAACP is sponsoring our annual Martin Luther King, Jr., Jubilee recognition on Saturday Jan. 25, beginning at 9 a.m. at the K of P Hall, 428 East 5th Street, Russellville. The theme is “Renew Your Strength, The Struggle Continues.”

A traditional breakfast will be served for a modest donation of $7.

Our guest speaker is Reverend Robert F. Boone, Pastor of Bank Street A. M. E. Zion Church, 504 East 5th Street, Russellville. He began his journey serving the Lord and accepted his call to the ministry in 2012.

Join the NAACP to receive and enjoy his message for the pleasure of celebrating the legacy of Dr. King.
