Hannah Hallman and Lindy Mitchell lead LCHS graduates academically

Prior to Commencement at WKU’s Diddle Arena Wednesday, Logan County High School announced the names of the Class of 2025’s valedictorian and salutatorian along with the other eight seniors finishing in the Top Ten academically.

Leading the way are Valedictorian Hannah Hallman and Salutatorian Lindy Mitchell. All 10 of the honorees are female.

They all have announced at which college they will begin their higher education. Four plan to attend Western Kentucky University, three Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College, two Murray State University and one the University of Kentucky.

Hannah Hallman, daughter of Brent and Amy Hallman, valedictorian. She plans to attend WKU and major in Secondary Education: English.

Lindy Mitchell, daughter of Jim and Jennifer Mitchell, salutatorian. She plans to attend SKYCTC and major in Respiratory Care.

Sophee Spears, daughter of Caycee and Bonnie Spears. She plans to attend UK and double major in Marketing and Integrated Strategic Communications.

Courtney Hershberger, daughter of John and Natalie Hershberger. She plans to attend SKYCTC and major in Radiology.

Madelyn Burgess, daughter of Josh and Kelly Burgess. She plans to attend WKU and major in Special Education.

 Chaney Barrow, daughter of Jon and Dr. Darla Barrow. She plans to attend Murray State and major in Pre-Optometry.

Jaylin Cassetty, daughter of Matthew and Emily Cassetty. She plans to attend Murray State and major in Secondary Education.

Caroline Hallman, daughter of John and Tiffany Hallman. She plans to attend WKU and major in Secondary Education: English.

Alyssa Hardison, daughter of J. Thomas and Lisa Hardison. She plans to attend SKYCTC and major in Business Management.

Makenzie Mowles, daughter of Heather Mowles. She plans to attend WKU and major in Nursing.
