You may have noticed a new banner hanging on our playground fence as you pull into Adairville School!
We are incredibly proud to announce that Adairville School has once again been redesignated as a National School to Watch by the National Forum to Advance Excellence in Middle Grades!
Following our site visit in February, the Schools to Watch team recognized so many of the things that make Adairville special:
* Academic Excellence — high expectations and meaningful learning for all students
* Developmental Responsiveness — knowing our students, building relationships, and meeting their individual needs
* Social Equity — a school where students and staff described Adairville as “a family”* Strong Organizational Systems — structures and practices that support students, staff, and continuous improvement
Adairville first earned the Schools to Watch designation in 2004 and has successfully maintained this recognition through every redesignation cycle since. That is an incredible legacy of excellence spanning more than two decades.
We are especially grateful for the leadership of Mrs. Lori Bouldin, who was instrumental in the Schools to Watch journey at Adairville for more than 20 years. The foundation built under her leadership is an important part of the legacy we are proud to continue.
This recognition belongs to our students, staff, families, and community—past and present—who have made Adairville the special place it is.
That banner on our fence is more than a recognition. It represents more than 20 years of Cardinal excellence—and our commitment to continue building on that legacy.
