Congratulations to our RHS Marching Panther Band as they had a great showing in the first band competition of the season. The band placed 1st in Class A, won Best Guard and Best Percussion and placed 5th overall. This Saturday, Director Brian Brown’s RHS Band will host its own Show of Bands at Rhea Stadium. Come out and enjoy an evening of great entertainment from area school bands.
The RHS Panther Football was victorious yet again in another Clash of the Cats with across town rivals, Logan County. Congrats to Coach John Myers, his staff and our players on another Panther victory!!
A reminder that Sept. 19, next Monday, will be a professional development day/in-service day for teachers, so no school for students! Transportation for Panther College Academy students, however, will still be provided.
