Incoming Russellville High School Principal Ben Bruni has announced that Cameron Jackson has been named the new assistant principal at Russellville Jr./Sr. High School.
Jackson joins what Bruni calls “our team” with over a decade in public education in Kentucky. He has worked in a variety of educational settings, serving as a special education teacher at an elementary school as well as spending the past nine years at the high school level. In addition to his teaching duties, Jackson has served on a school SBDM Council, volunteered his time as a counselor with the local YMCA, served as an assistant athletic director, and been an active participant in Title IX reform.
Beyond the classroom, Jackson has worked as a graduate assistant basketball coach with the Kentucky State Men's Basketball Program, served as head girls basketball coach at Campbellsville High School (2008-12), and most recently was the head boys basketball coach at Berea High School (2012-17).

Dear Panther Nation,
It is with great enthusiasm that I join the Russellville JR/SR High staff in the role of Assistant Principal. I am humbly honored to accept this new role and look forward to working with Mr. Bruni, and the rest of our staff, in our mission to do all that it takes to improve every child, every day.
I am entering my 11th year in education. I have spent the last 10 years as a special education teacher, one year at the elementary level and the past 9 years at the high school level.
The JR/SR High school years are important times for students. It is my mission as Assistant Principal to provide leadership that fosters a safe school environment and that emphasizes student achievement for each child.
I look forward to meeting our staff and working together to serve every child, every day.
