Snow Week Adjustments

Snow wiped out several days’ worth of school this past week, claiming the Friday before last and then Monday through Thursday. RJSHS was finally able to get back into the building on Friday, starting school on a two-hour delay. These days missed are added to two earlier days missed this year (8/21) for the Eclipse and (9/1) for heavy rains and flooding.

As of right now, it has been determined that three of the missed days will be made up on Wednesday, March 28, Thursday, March 29, and Friday, March 30. Those days were previously designated Spring Break days. The remaining three make up days will be added in a modified calendar yet to be determined. At this point, RISD is still on track to graduate prior to/on May 25.

Washington Trip Parent Meeting

There will be a parent information meeting for any student/parent interested in learning more about this trip this Thursday at 6 p.m. in the RHS Library.

High School Musical

This year’s school musical will be the Disney hit High School Musical. Students interested in trying out may audition on Wednesday and Thursday of week from 3:30 – 5:30.
