Band Travels to Disney for Spring Break
RHS Band Director Brian Brown and Assistant Band Director Trevor Cardwell, along with a host of parents, took the RHS Band to Disney World this Spring Break where the highly decorated Panther Marching Band performed in a parade at Epcot Center in the Magic Kingdom. The performance capped off a marching band season that saw the Panthers advance to state as well as earning honors upon honors for individual performances. Band numbers at RHS and RMS are at all-time highs and the addition of Mr. Cardwell to the Stevenson staff as a 5th grade band director has over 40 students participating, a staggering number when one considers that that means that one of every two future 6th graders is in the band program.
