The Logan County Cougar mascot is a finalist in the Barney’s Bracket Challenge being conducted by Brescia University.
The Cougar is going against the Hart County Raider for a $500 prize.
To reach the finals, the Cougar won over the Hancock County Hornet and the Caverna Colonel. Hart County won over the Frederick Fraize Ace and the Madisonville-North Hopkins Maroon.
Winners are determined on the basis of voting by fans. Daily votes can be cast through
Tuesday.

Early Sunday evening, Logan County was leading Hart County 52 percent to 48 percent.
