Varsity teams that will be in action are Russellville, Edmonson County, Muhlenberg County, Warren Central, Ohio County, Owensboro Catholic, Owensboro and Glasgow. JV teams, which will play their games in the middle school gym for the most part, are Muhlenberg County, Edmonson County, Warren Central, Russellville, Ohio County, Glasgow, Owensboro and Owensboro Catholic, the same eight schools.
The Russellville varsity will start the action at 8 a.m. against Edmonson County and end all varsity games with a 5 p.m. tipoff against Owensboro. A JV game in the high school gym follows with the same two schools being matched against each other. The Panther JV will also take on Edmonson County at noon in the middle school gym.
Coach Rex Booth says, “Please come out tomorrow and join us for some big time summer basketball featuring some of the best teams in our area! Admission is $3 and will be good for the entire day at both gyms.”
