It was a victorious night for the Logan County Cougar Tennis teams as they hosted 4th Region opponent Warren East at LCHS. The Cougars won the seven-point match 5-2 while the Lady Cougar won 8-1 in nine-point scoring
On the boys side Andrew Lyne defeated Reagan Young 6-3, 7-5. Rodrigo Boone defeated Jacob Simpson 7-6, 6-1. Hunter Scarbrough won his pro-set match against Brady Cochran 8-4 while Mason Freeman defeated Colin Napier in his pro-set match 8-6.
In boys doubles action Lyne & Boone defeated Cochran & Simpson 8-2 in a pro-set.
In girls action Katie Noffsinger was victorious over Hailey Crow 6-0, 6-1. Camden Williams defeated Jewel Dwyer 6-0, 6-0. Lindsay Allen won her pro-set match over Zoe Collett 8-0, Kate Malott defeated Claire Young 8-3 & Anna Silvey got the win over Lillie Gleichauf 8-1.
In girls doubles action Logan's Lauren Barnes & Noffsinger improved to 4-1 on the season with a decisive 6-0, 6-0 victory over Cockrill & Dwyer. Bell Bond & Hannah Goss got a 6-1, 6-1 win over Collett & Chloe Williams. Lady Cougars Blayke Bingham & Maria Bertousi won a pro-set match 8-2 over Sarah Neagle & Sarah Watkins.
The Lady Cougar Tennis Team moved to 4-1 on the season.
