The Logan County Lady Cougars find themselves in a bracket they handle if they play their best in the Fourth Region Tournament at WKU Memorial Day. Coach Mark Wood’s team (24-6) will meet Metcalfe County (16-14) in the third game of the day at 5 p.m. They didn’t play each other during the regular season.

Two of the only three teams with better records than Logan’s are not only in the upper bracket, but the top two play each other. Warren East (30-2) and Russell County (22-10) will start the day at 10 a.m.

The winner of Logan’s game will play the team which advances from the South Warren (26-11) and Allen County-Scottsville (12-23) at 8 p.m. Tuesday. The Lady Cougars have split with the Lady Spartans on the season with Logan winning 6-2 April 27 and South on top 11-7 May 14. Logan won its only meeting with AC-S 15-7 early in the season.
