Russellville High School has removed the “interim” tag from Carlos Quarles as the Boys Head Basketball Coach at RHS and named him the full time coach, Principal Ben Bruni has announced.
Coach Quarles currently serves as the Assistant Principal at Russellville High School and is in his third year working in the Russellville Independent School System. Quarles led the Panthers this past season as the interim head coach after then-Head Coach Rex Booth took a principal position in Edmonson County in September.
The Panthers were 6-21 this past season. For the 2020-21 Season, Coach Quarles’ Panthers return six of their seven leading scorers, five starters, and their top five rebounders.
Bruni said, “RHS is excited to see the Panthers take the court with Coach Quarles leading them.”
