Logan County Athletic Director Greg Howard has received a check from Suzanne Hughes of Carpenter Co. on behalf of the Carpenter Foundation. Howard applied for a grant to help secure two new touchscreen monitors for the Athletic Hall of Fame and the school’s graduating classes and distinguished alumni.

“This will allow LCHS to add all Athletic Hall of Fame Inductees to the software so that they can be displayed for all to see,” Howard says.” These touchscreen monitors are state of the art and will help us celebrate our outstanding athletes and students.”

The Hall if Fame monitor will be located in the front lobby of school. The other monitor will most likely be housed in the school library..

The grant will also allow the athletic department to purchase new gym chairs.

“LCHS would like to thank the Carpenter Foundation for their generous gift. The Foundation grant money will help us to recognize and support our students now and well into the future,” Howard said.

Logan County Cougar Foundation member Richard Holloman said, “As chairman of the Cougar Foundation Hall of Committee, I wish to thank Greg Howard for his unrelenting endeavors to promote and support the student athletes at Logan County High School. Honoring those who excelled in the field of athletics over the years through digital media has been a dream. The HOF Committee discussed that perhaps someday we could have more than an award hanging on a wall, something that could share our inductees' amazing stories. Through Greg Howard's efforts, that dream has become a reality. Thank you, Coach Howard.”
