The Fort Wayne Mad Ants, the NBA G League affiliate of the Indiana Pacers, earned the sixth seed in the NBA G League Eastern Conference Playoffs. They will take on the third seed Capital City Go-Go, the NBA G League Affiliate of the Washington Wizards, on Tuesday in opening round play.

The game will be played at the Entertainment & Sports Arena in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday, March 28 with a 6:30 p.m. Central  tip. The game will be broadcast on NBATV.0

The Mad Ants sealed the playoff berth with a 125-121 win over the Delaware Blue Coats in Wilmington, Del. Sunday.

Former Russellville High School great Pedro Bradshaw was named Player of the Game for the Mad Ants. He totaled 17 points and 10 rebounds while hitting six of seven field goal attempts.

The 6-7, 180-pound, 24-year-old forward has appeared in 29 of Fort Wayne’s 32 games this season, playing an average of 19.2 minutes per game. He is averaging 9.4 points and 5.8 rebounds while hitting 50.9 percent of his shots, including 41.9 percent from 3-point range. This is his second season in the G League. In college he played for Eastern Kentucky University before being the star player for Bellarmine University in the Knights’ first Division I season.

The NBA G League Playoffs are a single elimination format until the Finals. Tuesday's game will be single elimination with the winner of the Mad Ants and Go-Go advancing to Thursday's Eastern Conference semifinal at Delaware. Only the NBA G League Finals will feature more than one game and will be played in a best-of-three format.

The Mad Ants finished the regular season with five consecutive wins. That marks the second longest winning streak to finish a regular season in franchise history. The streak helped the team earn their first playoff berth since the 2017-2018 season.

The Mad Ants finished the regular season with an 18-14 record and with 30-20 full season record, including the Showcase Cup portion of the season. Only the 18-14 mark in the regular season played into the playoff race.

The trio of Indiana Pacers two-way players Trevelin Queen, as well as Gabe York and Justin Anderson became the NBA G League's first trio of players to all average 20 points or more per game for a full season since 2019-2020. They are just the seventh trio to do so in league history.
