Ranging in age from a seventh grader to an alumnus of one week, Russellville High School track and field won four silver medals and two bronze medals in the Kentucky Class 2A state finals Friday in Lexington.
That translates to being state runner-up in three events and third in another.
*Senior Too Too Mckeage finished 2nd in Triple Jump and 15th in Long Jump.
*Seventh grader DeMyiah Allen finished 2nd in shot put with a Personal Record of
37’9”.
Sophomore Jordan Inscoe and junior DJ Smiley finished 2nd in the unified long jump, 3rd in the 2x200m unified relay, and 8th in the 2x50 unified relay. The relatively new unified events pair a female (Inscoe) and a male (Smiley).
Other Panthers who qualified for an participated in state competition:
Justin Bigbee placed 11th in the 300m hurdles and 12th in the 110m Hurdles.
Madden Bloodworth finished 21st in the 100m hurdles.
Trystanne Hickman finished 11th in the discus.
