The Russellville Panthers Boys’ Soccer Team capped off an impressive two-week stretch at the Scotties Classic in Glasgow, finishing in a tie for 2nd place overall after going undefeated across three hard-fought matches.
The Panthers set the tone early with a thrilling 2-1 cross-town rival win over Logan County. Carrying that momentum into the next weekend, Russellville continued to showcase grit against tough opposition, earning a 2-2 draw with Barren County before wrapping up tournament play in a high-scoring 3-3 clash against host Glasgow.
“Going unbeaten through all three fixtures highlights the team's relentless effort, offensive firepower, and poise under pressure,” says Coach Cameron Kisselbaugh.
Carsen Farmer, Eli Flippen, and Aden Gardner were named Most Valuable Players for the tournament.
