Auburn, LCHS cheerleaders earn regional honors

The cheerleaders from Auburn Middle School and Logan County High School earned impressive honors recently.

The Auburn Middle School Cheerleaders are the 4th Region small division KAPOS champions! The Auburn cheerleaders, who are coached by Tabitha Conrad and Molly Clark, will be competing at state in January. They earned the prestigious honor Saturday, Nov. 9.

The Logan County High School Cheerleaders competed on Saturday, Nov. 2 at the 4th Region KHSAA Competition  held at Bowling Green High School. Fifteen teams from the 4th Region were in attendance competing in small, medium, large, super large, and coed divisions. Logan County competed in the medium division along with six other teams.  Logan County took runner-up in the competition, falling just short to South Warren High School. 

Becky Silvey Young is the LCHS cheer coach.
