District 3 Babe Ruth Baseball Tournament action begins Monday (tonight) at Basil Griffin Park in Warren County. Logan County is fielding both a 13-year-old and a 14-year-old all-star team entered in postseason action.

Both teams play tonight. The 13’s will meet Franklin at 5 p.m. while the 14’s will go against Warren County at 7:30.

Tuesday, the 13’s are off, but the 14’s will play Warren County again at 7:30. Wednesday, those same two teams will play again if the first two games have been split. If one team has won twice, the 14-year-old division is already over. If have to play Wednesday, the winner of that game will advance.

The 13’s will play Warren County at Wednesday. If there’s no game for the older division that night, this game will start at 6 p.m. If this is the second game, it will begin at 7:30.

Since there are three 13-year-old teams, a playoff will be necessary. The two and three seeds will play an elimination game at 6 p.m. Thursday. The winner will meet the one seed Friday at 6 to determine the district winner.
