Russellville Jr./Sr. High has started  a new  tradition this school year to recognize our student-athletes who exhibit the overall essence of their team. These students are considered to be the “Heartbeat of the Team.”

Athletic Director Calvin Head says, “These students were chosen by their other teammates as being that one member of the team who encourages, supports and  improves the overall dynamic of the team.”

Those chosen are as follows and were recognized at the pep rally this past Friday for all fall sport teams:

Middle School Recipients:

Softball--Taryn Gray

Volleyball--Maleah Buckner

Football--Jacob Naylor

Soccer--Jesus Zamarippa

Cheerleading--Halle York

High School Recipients:

Golf--Camron Tisdale

Volleyball--Jalonda Wells

Football--Coco Darden

Soccer--Eduardo Rodriguez

Cheerleading--Mateah Black

Marching Band--Derrick Porter

Congratulations to these students on being the ultimate Panthers!!
