The annual Blue/White Night Basketball Kickoff will be held at Logan County High School this Friday at 6 p.m. Admission is only $1 or free with the donation of a canned food item. Children 5 and under will be admitted free.
Athletic Director Greg Howard says both the Cougars and Lady Cougars team members will be introduced. Both Coach Finley Baird’s Ladies and Coach Lonnie Mason’s Cougars are defending district champions. They will also be involved an intrasquad scrimmage.
The high school cheerleaders will be introduced and the LCHS Pep Band will perform.
According to Lady Cougar Assistant Coach Zach Simpson, also to be introduced are the players, coaches and cheerleaders from the 10 teams of the five middle schools in the Logan County System.
Door prizes will be given out throughout the evening. Tickets will be distributed upon admission.
