RHS Swimming has record setting weekend

RHS swimming competed in the region one swimming championship in Owensboro this past weekend, Feb. 5 & 6.
Jonathan Hindman set the region one record for the 100 yard breaststroke with a time of 59.65. He also finished in fourth place in the 500 yard freestyle with a time of 4:58.77. Corey Hall finished first in the 200 yard individual medley with a time of 1:57.95 and first in the 100 yard butterfly with the time of 52.43.
Both Jonathan and Corey will be swimming in Louisville this weekend at the state championship meet.
Also swimming were Chelsea Hall and Eduardo Rodriquez. Chelsea swam the 100 yard butterfly in 1:10.81 and the 50 yard freestyle in 29.33. Eduardo swam the 50 yard freestyle in 36.69 and the 100 yard freestyle in 1:25.94.
The RHS boys finished in tenth place. Jonathan and Corey were named to the all region team. Corey was awarded co male swimmer of the meet.
Toni Hall is the coach of the Panthers and the Lady Panthers.
