The Logan County track season opened this week with the Cougars and Lady Cougars running at Greenwood. Coach Greg Howard said, “I let our kids have fun and choose the events they competed in. A fun and eye-opening night for them. Pretty strong performances for a first night with lots of new runners. Already Personal Records for many of returning athletes!”
Recording top three finishes were as follows: firsts—Lauren Burnett, Sawyer Hopkins, the relay team of Courtney McGinnis, Meredith Johnson, Taleia Mason and Jessica Hines; seconds—the same relay team runners, Mason (2), the relay team of Josh McKinney, Demanuel Barbee, Jailin Munday and Hopkins; and thirds—McGinnis, Gage Coustineau (2), Robert Dancer and Bobby Snoddy.
