LCHS Athletic Director's report for week beginning Feb. 13

1)      Congratulations to Logan County Middle School Tournament Champions, Auburn on winning both the boys and girls championship. Congratulations to all teams on a great season and for the great showing of fan support throughout the year.

2)      Congratulations to Coleman White, Thomas Lyne, Joey Higgins, and Riley Wharton for qualifying for the KHSAA Swimming and Diving Championships later Feb. 24-25 in Louisville!!!!!!

3)      Monday – Feb. 13 will be our last boys home basketball game as they host Rossview in a JV/V matchup.

4)      Tuesday – Feb. 14 will be the girls last home basketball game as they host South Warren in a JV/V matchup. LCHS Choir will sing the “Star Spangled Banner”

5)      Wednesday – Feb. 15 is the official start of Baseball, Softball, and Tennis.

6)      Wednesday – Feb. 15 is the First Southern National Bank Coach’s Appreciation Breakfast held at the Bethel Center Location.

7)      Thursday – Feb. 16 Lady Cougars play their last regular season games in a JV/V matchup at Greenwood.

8)      Friday & Saturday – Feb. 17 & 18 Logan County High School will be host to the finest archers in this part of the state at the NASP Regional Archery Tournament.

9)      Friday – Feb. 17 The Cougars also will play their last regular season game of the year in a Varsity only game at Edmonson Co.

10)   Next Week – I have attached the Boys and Girls 13^th District Brackets. The tournament is held at Franklin-Simpson starting next Monday.

11)   Cheerleaders – Congratulations to the LCHS Cheerleaders as they performed well at the National Cheerleading Championships in Orlando over the weekend!
