Some updates on Logan County High School Athletics:

Tennis – Our boys and girls tennis teams continue to improve and will be back in action after Spring Break. Our girls are currently 5-0 and our boys are 3-2. Both teams will be at home on Monday, April 10 taking on Ohio County.

Baseball – The Cougars are 12-2 and are hitting the ball extremely well. The Cougars participated this weekend in the William Workman Spring Classic at various Clarksville sites. They won two of three games against quality competition from Tennessee.

Softball – The Lady Cougars are posting a record of 4-5 and playing top-notch competition, as they prepare to strengthen their team before post-season action.

Track – The LCHS track team will be back in action at Warren Central on Tuesday, April 11 in the SKY Conference Championships.

Archery – The LCHS Archery team competed at the NASP State Tournament and did well. They placed 18th out of 102 high school teams. Taylor Haley finished 2nd with a 293. If Taylor were a senior she would have won a scholarship in the amount of $7,500. Good shooting girl! Taylor and Bethany Pearson will advance to the KHSAA State Championships later this month. The team has qualified to compete in the NASP National Championships in May.
