On Friday, Jan. 22, the Logan County Chamber of Commerce had the distinct pleasure of holding a Ribbon Cutting ceremony for the Southern Kentucky Fraternal Order of Police. The ceremony was held at “Whit’z on 4th” Street, a local venue. Open side doors made following Covid-19 restrictions easy and comfortable.

Kentucky State Treasurer Allison Ball made a video for the event highlighting the office's Financial Literacy Directive. Mathew Handy, a representative from the Treasurer's Office, was in attendance.

Event host Ray Wilson spoke on how the Financial Literacy Directive will focus on Kentucky Schools, military veterans, the disabled and the elderly, and is geared toward providing financial wisdom in areas such as banking, credit cards, and other high interest arenas.
