Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College (SKYCTC) will host a remembrance ceremony to commemorate the twentieth anniversary of the terrorist attacks across the United States on Sept. 11, 2001. The event will take place Sept. 8 from 2 – 3 p.m. in building F conference room on the College’s Main Campus at 1845 Loop Drive in Bowling Green.

The commemoration will include comments from SKYCTC President and CEO Dr. Phillip Neal and SKYCTC Student Veteran Brian Michaud, who will also lead us in the Pledge to the American Flag.

Representatives from the Bowling Green Fire Department Honor Guard as well as Warren Central High Army JROTC Dragon Battalion will present the Color Guard in a tribute to the firemen, police, safety officers, paramedics, and military veterans.

The timeline of Sept. 11, 2001 will be on displays and available in the conference room for viewing.  Refreshments will be served.

Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College invites the public to join us as we honor the past and prepare for the future.
