Corey Harris will be in Russellville Friday, March 12 for two appearances. He will perform at Russellville High School's Blues in the School at nonn.
Then he will entertain at the second Sounds and Cinema show at 7 p.m. at 4th Street Theater. Samra Smith of the Russellville Blues Society is helping
coordinate the Blues in the School program.
"Main Street Russellville is having something once a month in the lobby area of the theater through April, and then hopefully beginning in May the
weather will be nice enough to begin doing things in the parking lot area," says Main Street Manager Darlene Gooch.. "The monies gained through ticket
sales will be used to do minimal work in the auditorium part of the theater so that we can begin using that space, especially for rained out events.
This will make it so that we can use it until the time comes that I am able to find us a grant."
