Kentucky Artisans at the Saddle Factory is truly where art meets history! Besides being a retail space for Kentucky’s artists, musicians, and authors, as well as a museum exploring our local heritage, Kentucky Artisans are proud to support a variety of creative arts - from their Back in the Saddle Concert series and storytelling on the lawn to fine art camps and workshops for all ages!

On Saturday, May 10, from 2 – 4p.m., Kentucky Artisans at the Saddle Factory will celebrate the written works of local artist Lindsey Harlan. A short reading of her first novel, Wash Me White as Khaki, will be held at 3 p.m., followed by an interactive question and answer session. Wash Me White as Khaki is available exclusively for Kindle direct download at Amazon.com.

Lindsey grew up in Logan County and is a graduate of Logan County High School and Murray State University. She currently resides in Murray, where she is the executive director of CASA by the Lakes, a non-profit organization that advocates for child victims of abuse and neglect.

The facility will also be open for tours of the 1817 Saddle Factory Museum. Kentucky Artisans, Logan County’s only gift shop featuring only Kentucky-made arts, crafts, bath and body products, and home decor, will also be open. New merchandise is arriving daily.
