The annual Logan County Relay for Life will be held Friday night into the morning hours of Saturday at the football stadium at Logan County High School.

Kige Ramsey of the planning committee reports that the teams had raised over $57,000 at the final “bank night” last week. That number is expected to have grown considerably when the weekend is over.

Laura Jaynes, one of the leaders of the event, has announced the following schedule of events.

7:00  Basket Auction – live auction by Brent Summers

8:30  Birthday Party Wagon Parade Lap-

9:00  Luminaria Ceremony- including launching of Sky Lanterns

 ( you can donate for you luminaria until 8pm at the Luminaria tent at gate entrance)

10:00  Famous Couples pageant (Main Stage)

11:00- Blanket Volleyball (Center Field)

12:00- Fireworks (donated by Sylfoni’s Pizza) and Team gift card tree drawing

12:30  Cupcake Eating contest (main stage)

1:00  Birthday Party Games- Musical Chairs, Limbo, Pin the Tail on the Donkey (Center Field)
