The expression goes, “While the cat is away, the mice will play.”

At Russellville High School, the “mice” (a.k.a. teachers, administrators, maintenance, and staff) have had very little time to play this summer, as they have been busy with building repairs and improvements, training sessions, and generally getting things in order so that students can look forward to a great 2014-15 school year.

Pictured is some of the work going on at RHS this summer, including sandblasting, priming, and repainting of the Bell Tower donated to the school by the Pep Club and the  Class of 1969; new windows along the science wing; and roof coating on the vocational school building.

A big thanks goes out to Coffman Metal Works, Russellville Glass Company, and Tremco for all their hard work this summer!
