The Stevenson Singers, led by Elaine Blythe, performed the patriotic songs "Red, White and Blue" and "On Veterans Day" at a school-wide assembly recognizing Veterans Day in mid-November. Special guest Brian Brown of Russellville High School gave a reverent performance of “Taps” on his trumpet, and students were shown a short video melody of the songs from the different branches of the military.

Several veterans joined the students for this special event, which was planned by Mrs. Blythe, along with fellow teachers. Michelle Hindman, Nicole Pedigo, and other members of the SES “Culture and Climate Committee”.
