RHS Swim Team

The RHS Swimming Panthers had a strong showing at Hopkinsville High School Thursday night. Kate Bouldin had two best personal times for the season in the 200 free and the 100 fly. Cole Celsor had an all-time personal best in the 100 free. Benjamin Slack placed first in the 200 free and 2nd in the 100 fly. Both Rodriguez swimmers, Ed and Fernanda, had good solid swims.

On Friday three of our swimmers participated in a team fundraiser. Swimmers collected donations in exchange for swimming at least a mile - that's 33 laps. Celsor swam two miles and both Ed Rodriguez and Kate Bouldin swam three miles. All swimming had to be completed within a two-hour time limit.

Upcoming events for the swim team include hosting the concession stand at Tuesday night's basketball game and their last home swim meet Thursday night at the Carpenter Center. Senior Ed Rodriguez will be recognized.

The RHS Senior Beta Club left Sunday for the state convention in Louisville. We wish all the members and Sponsor Mrs. Tanya Mullen the best of luck on their events and safe travels as they journey.
