RMS/RHS Academic Team
Members of the middle school academic team competed this past week/weekend at the Regional Governor’s Cup in Allen County. 8th graders Matthew Wilkerson and Benjamin Slack both placed 4thin the respective categories, science and social studies, which also provides them with an automatic bid to the state competition in March. Congratulations to these students and Coach Tina Shoemake on a very successful season with our RMS Academic Team.
The RHS Academic Team will be in action this week as they continue their trek to the state competition, as well. Members of the team will be traveling Tuesday and Saturday to Madisonville to compete in the Regional Governor’s Cup. Good luck to our high school team members and Coach Jennifer Rogers!
RJSHS Swim Team
The swimming Panthers completed a successful season at their regional swim meet on Saturday at Owensboro Health Park. Details and official results will be made soon.
Russellville Archery
The Panther Archery team was in action this past weekend at LCHS. Coach Jeramy Rust reports that the team shot very well and they were even missing a few kids due to prior commitments with other school programs! The team will be traveling this coming weekend to Muhlenburg County and Madisonville to attempt to qualify for state! Good luck, Panther Archers!! Shoot well!
RMS Jr. Beta Club
The junior BETA club members will be traveling this week to the state convention! Good luck and safe travels to our Jr. Beta members and their sponsors!
