During the early morning hours before school starts, See You at the Pole” is an annual gathering of thousands of Christian students at the flagpole in front of their local schools for prayer, scripture-reading, worship, and to lift up their friends, families, teachers, school, and nation to God.

See You at the Pole™ is a student-initiated, student-organized, and student-led event. This global day of student prayer, began in 1990, in the United States, as a grass-roots movement with 10 students praying at their school flagpole. Now all these years later, millions pray on their campuses on the designated fourth Wednesday in September. It has grown by word-of-mouth, announcements at youth rallies, churches, and the Internet and has become an international event.

On Wednesday, Sept. 28, at Russellville Junior/Senior High School, 34 students attended a student-led time of prayer for their school and community.
