Lions Club bringing Spirit of the Commonwealth singers to Logan

The Russellville Lions’ Club will present the popular barbershop singing group, The Spirit of The Commonwealth Barbershop Chorus and Quartets, on Thursday, Nov. 10, at the Historic Old Logan County Courthouse. Doors will open at 6 p.m. The concert will begin in the upper courtroom at 7. Tickets will be available in the month of October to be sold by Lions Club members.  

The price is $10 for admission to hear and enjoy the award winning 35-man chorus and three quartets of junior adult and senior adult age members. Be sure and buy your limited amount of available tickets early. At present, the Lions’ Club cannot guarantee if tickets will be available at the door on Nov. 10.

These Russellville locations will have tickets for purchase Monday-Friday: The Logan County Tourism Office on the first floor of the Old Logan County Courthouse, First Southern National Bank , the Logan County Chamber of Commerce, and Auburn Banking Co, Hwy 68 Branch.

The Russellville Lions Club is a chartered local organization, whose members are active in the local community. They camera test pre-school and kindergarten age children for possible eye defects and help provide eye glasses for limited income individuals. The club meets at noon at Colonial Inn on the first and third Thursdays of each month.
