Olmstead Rambassadors meet governor, assist Humane Society

Olmstead School’s student ambassador group, known as the Rambassadors, have been busy recently, spending time with a broad spectrum of people and animals.

They were invited to lead the Pledge of Allegiance at a political/governmental gathering at H&H Sheetmetal. There they met Governor Matt Bevin. They were invited to do this by legislative candidate Jason Petrie.

Rambassadors Nathaniel Petrie, Connor Gorrell, Lexi Cothern, Hailey Young and Bryanna Piper are shown in an accompanying picture, along with their chaperones, parent Dawn Adler and Rambassadors Sponsor Candi McCullough

The Rambassadors also presented pet and cleaning supplies, which had been donated during Red Ribbon Week by Olmstead School students, to Logan County Humane Society Director Amanda Castile. The theme for Humane Society Donation Day was PAWS-itively PROUD TO BE DRUG FREE.
