Logan board both honored and honors LCHS

Logan County Board of Education members have been involved in some formal ceremonies since 2017 began.

Three board members were sworn in at the January meeting. Johnny Dawson of the Olmstead district and Phil Baker of Chandlers were reelected in November were reelected while Teresa Hendrix of Lewisburg is beginning her first term.

Logan County Judge/Executive Logan Chick presented board members a proclamation for National School Board Member Month. Shown, from left, in the photo above are Superintendent Paul Mullins, board members Phil Baker, Tim Hall of Auburn and Chairman Kenny Robertson of Adairville; Judge Chick; and board members Teresa Hendrix and Johnny Dawson.

In the other picture above, Logan County Principal Caycee Spears is honored by the board for being named an Advanced Placement Honor Roll School for 2016.

In the photos below, District Judge Ken Williams swears in Hendrix and poses with the trio to which he administered the oath of office, Dawson, Baker and Hendrix.
