RHS Principal's Report for March 5 features music students

Our RMS and RHS Band students traveled to the 3rd District KMEA Solo and Ensembles event on Saturday at Warren Central High School. Director Brian Brown reported the following results:

58 students participated in the Solo & Ensemble Festival. All 58 received Proficient and/or Distinguished Ratings.

The following students received a Proficient Rating at the Solo & Ensemble Festival Saturday.

Middle School: Zoe Wright, Josh Proctor, Domitria Martin, Emma-Grace Gwynette.
High School: Zach Baker, Brendan Farlee, Carson Kash, Brandon Johns, Amariah Christie, Brett Kinser, Kaylee Silvey, Ma'Leigha Stovall, Shayla Oberhausen, Laura Mullen, Allison Tatum, Ryanna Day, Austin Coursey, Haley Elliott.

The following students received a Distinguished Rating at the Solo & Ensemble Festival Saturday.

Congratulations to all of our students who received Proficient and Distinguished ratings during this event on Saturday!!

Our RHS Academic Team will be traveling this week to the State Governor’s Cup event in Louisville. Good luck to our NUMEROUS students who qualified for this event!!

PANTHER PARTY
The Russellville Jr/Sr High School Athletic Department will host the Panther Party event this coming Saturday at the school. There will be good food, a great comedy show, baskets for silent auction and time for fellowship as a community of Panther supporters!!! Please come out this week and see Mary Celsor for tickets to this exciting event!

Dinner (Roy’s BBQ) and Silent Auction begin at 5:30
Comedy show begins at 7:30

Adults--$25
Students--$15

Come out and show your support for our Russellville Panthers!!! While you are picking up your tickets for the Panther Party, get your advanced tickets for the next round of the 4th Region Boys’ Basketball Tournament in which our Panthers take on the Clinton County Bulldogs. Tipoff is scheduled for 8 tomorrow night at WKU’s Diddle Arena. Advanced tickets are $6---$8 at the gate!

Good luck to our RHS Baseball and Softball teams as they prepare to get their seasons underway!! Go Big P!!
