Auburn Elementary School Assistant Principal Sarah Hatton has been .named a Kentucky Association School Administrators’ 2017 Tomorrow’s Leader Scholar. The award includes $3,000 toward the cost of continuing her principal preparation program this summer.

The award, provided by KASA and Curriculum Associates, may be used for tuition for instructional courses leading toward her certification, textbook reimbursement, and/or a travel stipend.

Hatton will be recognized at a celebration breakfast, which will be held during the closing session of KASA’s annual leadership institute Friday, July 28 in the Grand Ballroom, located in Suite Tower of the Galt House in Louisville.

In addition to being recognized, she will become somewhat acquainted with the Association, meet the KASA officers and other scholarship recipients, and hear a closing keynote address by Dr. Stephen Pruitt, Kentucky Commissioner of Education, as well as Mark Sanborn, author of The Fred Factor, which is the basis of KASA’s Fred award program. You’ll also help us celebrate our 10-year anniversary and meet Kentucky’s Freds.
