On January 23 and 25, 8th graders from all five Logan County middle schools had the opportunity to visit the high school to observe their classes of interest. Over 80 8th graders visited the Ag department over the two days during this time.

Our officer team took the time to share their personal experiences in FFA with the 8th graders.  During the tour of the Ag shop and the greenhouse, students were told about the opportunities FFA has for freshman. There was also a team building and leadership activity led by the President and Vice President.

After these activities, the 8th graders helped themselves to some refreshments while Mr. Jay Campbell demonstrated how to operate the plasma cutter. A cow was brought in from his farm so the 8th graders could see the opportunities in showing steers through the FFA.

FFA would like to thank Mrs. Hallman for organizing this event.
