Hannah Price leads Logan FFA at region

On March 13, Logan County FFA took 27 members to the WKU/Glasgow Campus for the Spring Regional Contest. Members competed in Extemporaneous Speaking, Impromptu Speaking, Quiz Bowl, Senior Parliamentary Procedure, and Record Keeping.

The following were participants and their contests:

Parliamentary Procedure: Jessalyn Robey, Meelea Reno, Zach Milam, Hannah Price, Rachel Taylor, Hayley Hallman, Briley Robinson, Caroline Davenport, Ethan Robey, and Ashlyn Tracy.

Turf and Lawn Care Impromptu: Hayley Hallman

Floral Impromptu: Caroline Davenport

Poultry Impromptu: Micah Page

Public Speaking: Addie White

Greenhouse Impromptu: Meelea Reno

Extemporaneous Speaking: Rachel Taylor

Small Animal Impromptu: Jamasyn Belcher

Crop Impromptu: Crandall Barrow

Horse Impromptu: Bailey Cornelius

Sheep/Goat Impromptu: Briley Robinson

Beef Impromptu: Macon Barrow

Ag. Mechanics Impromptu: Harrison Wilson

Fruit and Vegetable Impromptu: Hannah Price

Dairy Impromptu: Jessalyn Robey

Nursery Impromptu: Kassidy Justice

Swine Impromptu: Zach Milam

FFA Quiz Bowl: Lindsey Brinkley

FFA Creed: Madeline Reno

Record Keeping: Mallory Whitson, Caitlyn Mosely, Jamasyn Belcher, and Lillianne Elam

These members worked very hard for their contests and everyone has done well.

Hannah Price placed first in Fruits and Vegetables Impromptu, Briley Robinson placed second in Sheep/goat impromptu, Meelea Reno placed second in Greenhouse Impromptu, Jessalyn Robey placed second in Dairy Impromptu, and Lindsey Binkley placed first in Quiz Bowl. All of these members are going to advance to the state competition in the summer.

Our Parliamentary Procedure Team placed second. We will know the results of record keeping in a few weeks!
