The Logan County High School chapter of the National Beta Club held its annual induction ceremony Sept. 14 in the school’s Commons Area. This year the club welcomed 28 initiates.
The evening ceremony was presided over by chapter president John Hendricks and was conducted by the club’s officers: Nella Bond- vice president; Cheyenne Nash- secretary; Cody Watkins- treasurer; Maria Wells- reporter; Chloe Watkins- parliamentarian; and Jaden Hayes and Morgan Gafford- members of the Executive Council.
Following the ceremony, inductees, members, and their families enjoyed refreshments and fellowship.

Established in 1934, the National Beta Club has as its mission the promotion of ideals through academic achievement, character, service and leadership. With more than 500,000 active members and over 8,750 clubs nationally and internationally, it is the largest independent, non-profit, educational youth organization in America.
