For the 17th straight weekend before Thanksgiving, local artists and creative craftspeople will display their handmade items and offer them for sale in downtown Russellville this weekend.
Christmas in November will be held Saturday and Sunday at the Russellville Recreation Center, also known as the “Old Armory.” It’s located on Winter Street adjacent to the post office. Hours are 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday and 1-5 p.m. Sunday.
The Sunday hours coincide with the annual Downtown Russellville Christmas Open Houses.
Elaine Dixon has headed the event ever since the Logan County Arts & Crafts Club began it. She and Elaine Turner have set up booths at each of the shows.
This show is different from others in that every item has to be made by the person displaying/selling it. There are no vendor sales of franchised items. Each artist is setting up by invitation only.
