RHS FCCLA members earn honors at region

On Friday, Jan. 25, Ashley McGinnis, the sponsor of Russellville High School’s FCCLA (Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America), traveled with her students to attend the FCCLA Region 4 STAR Events competition. 

The following students attended: Halle York, Kaden Boyd, Robert Barnett, Parker Jones, Bam Ray, Anastasia Dowlen, Destiny Daniels, Jasmaine Loving, Jayden Hammer, Austynn Holdren, Allison Tatum, Shianna Ewing, Domitria Martin, and Kimmari Ferguson.

The FCCLA competition results were: Halle York and Kaden Boyd-1st Place, Sport Nutrition; Jasmaine Loving-1st Place, Recycle and Redesign; Austynn Holdren and Jayden Hammer-1st Place, Life Event Planning; Destiny Daniels-2nd Place, Food Innovations, Kimmari Ferguson, Domitria Martin, and Shianna Ewing-2nd Place, Life Event Planning Junior; and Allison Tatum-2nd Place, Illustrated Talk
