FFA members win Field Day honors

On April 25, Logan County FFA took 45 members to compete in several different competitions at the WKU ag arena in Bowling Green.

Some of these competitions were hands-on skills competitions while others were tests in specific areas. Competitions included, Welding, Agronomy, Auctioneering, Dairy Judging, Equine, Horticulture Demonstration, Food Science Demonstration, Ag Mech Demonstration, Ag Mech, Livestock Judging, Floriculture, Nursery and Landscape, Soils Evaluation, Job Interview, Farm Management, Agriscience Fair.

The students who participated are Trey Alford, Bradley Allred, Crandal Barrow, Macon Barrow, Jamasyn Belcher, Lindsey Brinkley, Luke Brown, Jailyn Campbell, Abby Canler, John-Dawson Celsor, Sydnee Claypool, Caroline Davenport, Emma Edler, Hayley Hallman, Chloe Harper, Madelyn Hughes, Ethan Jenkins, Brooke Johnson, Cade Johnson, Alyssa Kennedy, Zach Milam, Caitlyn Mosely, Micah Page, Macy Parker, Hannah Price, Jackson Reader, Madeline Reno, Harley Robertson, Ethan Robey, Briley Robinson, Noah Rust, Ellie Sandlin, Gracie Snoddy, Gracee Spears, Carter Spivey, Rachel Taylor, Ashlyn Tracy, Price Violette, Alex Walpole, Briar Webb, Gracie Wharton, Ally White, Mallory Whitson, Abby Wright, Zach Yates.

The following teams placed in their competitions:

Agronomy: 3rd place. Team members- Lindsey Brinkley, Caitlyn Mosely, Macy Parker, Madeline Reno.

Food Science Demonstration: 1st place. Team members-Crandal Barrow, Macon Barrow.

Nursery and Landscape: 3rd place. Team members- Hayley Hallman, Caroline Davenport, Micah Page, Briley Robinson.

Farm Management: 1st place. Team members- Bradley Allred, Zach Milam, Rachel Taylor, Hannah Price
