Once again this school year, Stevenson Elementary Family Resource Coordinator Carol Kees and Assistant Deborah Elliott partnered with  RIS Community Education Director Penni Nugent to host their annual Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon at the District Office.

So many of our volunteers serve in so many different ways, and we are so greatly blessed with good friends, good helpers, and good role models for our students!

Mentors, Lunch Buddies and Workroom Volunteers took a few minutes to sit, relax, eat, and enjoy good company. Kees stated we couldn't do what we do without all the wonderful friends throughout our community who are always ready to lend a hand.

Those attending were Rod Owens, Carolyn Baker, Carolyn DeArmond, Ellen Nealy, Linda Brown, Albert Brown, Betty Woodlee, Kathy Thweatt, Kaitlynn Vaughn, Addie Mosier, Travez Hampton, Marie Gamble, Sandra Kinser, Matthew Williams, and Kim Guffy.

Shown at the front table are Albert and Linda Brown, Travez Hampton, Marie Gamble and Sandra Kinser.
