Logan Telephone Cooperative will again sponsor one student to attend this year’s FRS Youth Tour, which will be held June 6-10, 2020. The FRS Youth Tour provides high school students from across rural America a chance to visit our nation’s capital and learn about rural broadband—and to tell their community’s story. Since 1995, the tour has hosted thousands of students and provides a forum for teens to meet and interact with their peers from other rural communities as well as key legislative, regulatory, and government figures.
Guidelines include:
1) Must be a high school student between the ages of 16 and 17 at the time of the tour.
2) Parents/guardians must have a membership in good standing with the Cooperative.
3) Children of Logan Telephone employees and directors are not eligible.
4) Selected applicant will be required to meet with LTC’s General Manager before the tour to learn more about the industry as well as report back after the tour.
Youth Tour application packets are available from your high school guidance counselor, at the LTC business office, or it can be downloaded from http://logantele.com/about/news.
The required materials are due Friday, March 13.
