Video being created to observe Child Abuse Month

The Logan County Office of Child and Family Services is creating a video to virtually celebrate National Child Abuse Awareness Month. The hope is to produce a video showing everyone wearing blue, holding a pinwheel, displaying a blue ribbon, or posing with a sign of #childabuseawareness, #teamKY, or sidewalk chalk art.

CFS staff needs your help to make this possible. Please text Susan Evans, CFS director, at 270-731-9512, with your picture to be included on the video.

She says, “Feel free to include your families, pets, loved ones, or anyone else you are quarantined with during this time! We will combine the pictures and post the video online for everyone to see. Please send your pictures by Friday, April 17, so CFS can compile the video.

Let's have a great turnout for our Online Child Abuse Awareness Campaign 2020.
